Who is an Individual client?

The Individual Client is a natural person, identified before the application with his/her first name, by presenting an identification document, which can be the C.N.I./ID, for the nationals, or the Passport, for the foreigners.

An Individual client may be an individual person or a collective person (joint and collective).

Account Opening

Caixa, the bank that suits me.

To open an Account at Caixa, you should go to the nearest Branch.

Necessary documents to open an account:

  • Completed and signed Account Opening Form;
  • Standardized Information Sheet (available in the agencies);
  • An updated C.N.I. / ID, for the national citizens and residents;
  • A valid Passport, if you are an Emigrant or a Foreigner;
  • NIF statement/card;
  • Emigrant declaration, if applicable;
  • Proof of address. If this is not possible, a statement issued by the client confirming his/her address (draft available at our branches);
  • Declaration of Salary, issued by the employer, with information on job position and salary;
  • Declaration of the type of activity practiced and profession for self-employed workers (draft available at our branches), as well as a declaration of income obtained on the last fiscal year, where applicable.

The Account may only be opened upon presentation of the originals or a certified copy of the required documents.
