  • Financing of projects in the Primary, Secondary and Tertiary sectors, which contribute to the creation and development of modern and competitive companies;
  • The amount of financing varies according to the project, not exceeding, as a rule, 70% of its overall amount;
  • The financing term is established according to the specific characteristics of each project, taking into account the recovery period of the investment, object of financing;
  • The guarantee can be: mortgage, use of the object of financing as collateral, promissory note, insurance and others, accepted by Caixa.

  • Loan request addressed to Caixa;
  • Pro-forma invoice from the supplier;
  • Authorisation form for access to information from the financial system, namely from the Bank of Cabo Verde's Risk Centre, or similar entities, duly filled and signed by all those involved;
  • Updated ID or NIF of the representatives of the company/proponent and guarantee guarantors, if applicable;
  • NIF statement/card of the proponent and guarantee guarantors, if applicable;
  • Licence, permit or traveling merchant/vendor card of the bidder and guarantee guarantors, if applicable;
  • Updated business registration certificate of the company (valid for one year);
  • Balance Sheet/Demonstration of results for the last three years. For companies that are part of REMPE, an income statement from the Tax Administration;
  • If the company belongs to a corporate group, attach the report and the accounts for the last three years, concerning the other companies in the group;
  • Business plan for new, extension or restructuring projects;
  • Declaration of the Company\'s situation by the Tax Administration and Social Security;
  • Other.

  • This credit may be guaranteed by a promissory note signed by the beneficiary and guaranteed by a third party (in the case of companies, the guarantee may be provided by the partner(s)), pledge of the goods, pledge of deposits with Caixa and/or mortgage of real estate.

  • Updated ID/NIF of the guarantee guarantors, if applicable;
  • NIF statement/card of the applicant;

  • Declaration of the bidder's and guarantor'swarrantor's salary, if applicable, referring to the labour situation (existence or not of disciplinary process);
  • Copy of marriage certificate for the married applicant guarantee guarantors, if applicable;
  • Updated certificate of commercial registration (valid for 1 year) and articles of association of the Company;
  • Balance sheet / results of the Company\'s last 3 years. For companies that are part of REMPE, a statement of income from the Tax Administration;
  • Honorary statement attesting the non-existence of litigious proceedings;
  • Updated land registry and registry certificate (valid for 1 year), location plan and architectural project or land survey, if the credit is guaranteed by a mortgage of the property.
The Identification documents, of all parties involved, should be presented in their original form.

  • The Renewable Energy Credit is a specific credit line, intended to decrease the country's energy dependence, and to encourage the use of alternative energy sources, to respond to the growing market demands.
Characteristics
The access conditions to the Renewable Energy Credit to Companies, cumulatively require:

  • An absence of legal proceedings and litigious situations, that may cause future repercussions and significantly affect the economic and financial situation of the applicant;
  • An ability to repay the credit;
  • Not having credits and/or other active responsibilities in irregular situation;
  • Finance up to 70% of the value of the pro-forma invoice;
