Caixa, dedicated to safeguarding the environment and firmly aligned with its Sustainability Policy, will organize a "Green Walk" followed by a tree-planting initiative as a significant aspect of its 95th-anniversary celebrations. This endeavor will be undertaken in collaboration with the City Council of São Lourenço dos Órgãos.

The objective of this initiative is twofold: first, to bolster Caixa's role as the "Green and Sustainable Bank," and second, to foster unity among employees in their commitment to environmental preservation and physical fitness. This event will be held in the "São Jorge Natural Park," providing participants with the chance to plant seedlings of native plants, thus actively contributing to environmental conservation efforts.

We aim to replicate the Green Walk initiative across all the islands, coupled with tree-planting efforts. This endeavor aligns with Caixa's principles and will actively contribute to the environment. It will bring about advantages of biodiversity and engagements within local communities and further foster opportunities for contemplative and social activities within the institution.
