The Caixa Económica de Cabo Verde received yesterday, on November 10, together with other national institutions, an Accessibility Diploma due to having voluntarily adapted its facilities to the mobility needs of people with disabilities, in line with the FECAD project.

Since 2017, FECAD ( Cape Verde Federation of Associations of People with Disabilities) has been running the project called "ACCEDERE" (Access to Culture in Cabo Verde and Tourism Development and Representation of People with Disabilities), financed by the European Union, which aims to recognize the institutions that have adopted accessibility policies by free initiative.

In this context, FECAD, in partnership with the Directorate General of Tourism and the Ministry of Family and Social Inclusion, has issued an accessibility certificate in order to reward institutions that have complied with the accessibility law.

In addition to the accessibility certificates, a sticker has been delivered, which will be placed at the entrance of the awarded institutions, in order to recognize accessibility.

Receiving this award combines with the values of Caixa, which, as an institution with social responsibility, has been adopting inclusion measures, whether social, financial or digital.

Accessibility, it suits me.
