For the second consecutive year, Caixa Económica de Cabo Verde (CECV) has earned international recognition with the prestigious Quality Choice Prize, presented by the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR). The award highlights the bank’s continued commitment to excellence in quality management and service delivery.

The Quality Choice Prize honors organizations that uphold high ethical standards and implement effective quality management practices. It recognizes institutions that achieve outstanding results through efficient processes, customer-focused strategies, and a strong dedication to continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.

The official 2026 Choice of Quality Awards ceremony was held on 31 May in Brussels, Belgium, as part of the European Society for Quality Research (ESQR) annual convention. The prestigious event brought together distinguished business leaders, academics, quality management specialists, government representatives, and diplomats from across Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Australia.

During the ceremony, the Chairman of Caixa Económica’s Executive Committee, Dr António Moreira, addressed the international audience, highlighting the bank’s remarkable growth and leadership within Cape Verde’s banking sector. He also underscored Caixa’s strong commitment to quality and continuous improvement, reflected in its achievement of two internationally recognised quality certifications.
