On December 19, 2025, Caixa Económica de Cabo Verde hosted the event “Special Financial Education: A Day with Our Children” at the auditorium of its headquarters in Praia. Held in a joyful Christmas atmosphere, the initiative brought together the children of Caixa employees, who took center stage as presenters in a session fully dedicated to financial education.
The program began with the reception and welcoming of the children, including the distribution of event T-shirts and a guided tour of the Head Office Branch. This was followed by a cultural opening featuring a performance of “Nhô Santiago” by young artist Carol Évora (16).
The event was hosted by 16-year-old master of ceremonies Giullia Ramos, who officially opened the session before handing over the stage to a series of interactive panels led entirely by children:
Panel 1 – Learning to Save and Dream: Moderated by Isamara Semedo (17), with contributions from young commentators Roniell Reis (7) and Luana Vitória (15).
Panel 2 – Presentation of “Continha da Caixa”: A presentation of Caixa’s savings product designed especially for children, one that grows with them – by Lara Tavares (14) and Arthur Borges (8).
Panel 3 – Open Conversation on Financial Education: A discussion led by Carol Évora alongside guest artist MC Acondizé, culminating in a special musical performance.
The event was thoughtfully designed to offer children a welcoming space for learning, sharing, and enjoyment, addressing essential topics such as the importance of saving and responsible money management in a simple and playful manner.
Through this initiative, Caixa reaffirmed its commitment to promoting financial education from an early age, recognizing it as a key foundation for building a more informed, conscious, and sustainable future.
“Special Financial Education: A Day with Our Children” stood out as an inspiring initiative that brought together the Caixa family, the Christmas spirit, and the values of financial education, further strengthening the institution’s dedication to social responsibility.
