Caixa Supports the “General Knowledge Olympics” in São Lourenço dos Órgãos

As part of its commitment to social responsibility and in alignment with the STEAM Project, Caixa proudly supported the “General Knowledge Olympics – Academic Year 2024/2025,” an initiative organized by the Ministry of Education Delegation in São Lourenço dos Órgãos, Santiago Island.
In recognition of outstanding academic merit, Caixa presented the top two students with the prestigious “Caixa Prize,” aiming to inspire a culture of academic excellence and a passion for learning among Cape Verdean youth. This initiative underscores Caixa’s role as a key partner in the education sector, championing dreams, ambition, and long-term investment in the future of young generations.
The awards ceremony took place on June 14th, during the final event of the 7th edition of the “BADJA KU NOS VOS” Gala. In addition to the Olympics awards ceremony, the Gala featured several cultural and educational activities, including Voice, Music and Reading competitions, celebrating the talent, creativity, and dedication of the municipality’s youth.
This support reflects Caixa’s ongoing commitment to the sustainable development, recognizing education as a fundamental pillar for building a more inclusive and empowered society.
