Mortgage Loan for Non Residents

This line of credit is designed exclusively to Non Resident customers that intend purchase a house .

 

The financing can be made in Cape Verdean Escudos or in Euros, up to 70% of the value of the evaluated property.

 

Access Conditions:

 

Non residents in Cape Verde who meet all of the following conditions may be eligible for this loan:

  • Down payment of 30% or more of the value of the property to be acquired or having the corresponding amount in an account opened at Caixa;     
  • Have a fixed and permanent income;  
  • Have effective employment contract with the same company or entity for more than one year;

 

 

How to apply:

  • Duly filled up Loan Application;                 
  • Copy of Passport of the Applicant and Spouse;
  • Income statement of the Applicant and Spouse;            
  • Letter from the applicant's and spouse's employer;       
  • Reference letter of the applicant and spouse from the respective bank;
  • Irrevocable bank letter confirming the permanent bank transfer equivalent to the fixed monthly installments to pay the loan;   
  • Letter from the seller or purchase and sale agreement;  
  • Proof of initial payment;       
  • Property registration certificate evidencing the seller's property right on the building to be transacted;                                                                
  • Property architecture plan.
