Western Union Transfers at Caixa Branches

This service allows you to send and receive money in minutes, to anywhere in the world, on an easy, quick, secure manner at low cost. 

 

To send money, you should:

  • Go to a Caixa Branch;
  • Fill up the money transfer form;
  • Pay the amount in cash;
  • Receive a number with 10 digits(known as the MTCN);
  • Send the beneficiary the  MTCN and the security question, so he/she can quickly and  safely receive the money

 

To receive money you need:

  • The name of the sender;
  • The country of the city where the transfer was requested;
  • The amount you expect to receive;
  • The 10 digit number (known as MTCN), that is not mandatory but it makes the payment easier;
  • Valid ID or Passposrt and the answer to the security question. There are no additional taxes to be paid because all taxes are paid by the sender.
